The Maas Consulting Group is led by Jonathan Maas. Over the last 35 years he has built significant expertise in:

managing electronic and hard copy data in a legal context, whether in the course of litigation, regulatory or internal investigations, due diligence or any other situation where records need to be identified, collected, managed, assimilated and produced; and

selecting, implementing and deploying technology to help lawyers work even more smartly in the modern world.

The experiences accumulated by Jonathan over the last three decades of hands-on work in global law firms and consultancies are available via The Maas Consulting Group. Jonathan can now be engaged for projects small and large where a particular facet of his skills can be matched to the requirement in hand in a very time- and cost-effective manner.

Jonathan’s career began in 1982 as a fee-earner in Lovells’ Commercial Litigation Department, moving to their IT department in 1989. In 1994 he went to Simmons & Simmons as their first litigation support manager. Following the Woolf Reforms in early 1999 Jonathan set up The Litigation Support Company. He rejoined Simmons & Simmons in late 2000 as litigation support consultant and editor of elexica. In 2006 Jonathan became Head of Litigation Technology at DLA Piper, going on to join EY’s Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services team in 2010. In April 2014 he moved to Huron Legal to lead eDiscovery operations in their London office. He subsequently joined Consilio following their acquisition of Huron Legal at the end of 2016.

Although based in London, Jonathan has worked on matters spanning the globe and has set up and managed specific case teams in Australia, Bermuda, England, France and Hong Kong.
